KOOS VAN DE KERKHOF – DOUCHE (Limbabwe 28) 1985
Koos was a poet. The tape is poetry in Dutch. I am not going to translate. Its too much. So this is for the Dutch, Flemish, South Africans, and others who understand Dutch.
Douche = Shower. The tape came with book. Poets printed with water resisting ink on transparent pages. You can read it under the shower. I do not advice playing the tape on a walkman at the same time.
The tape and book where packet in a sealed plastic bag. I still have a never opened copy.
On the tape you hear Koos reading ‘rhythmical’ his poems supported by Willem (appellation Controlee) on sax and percussion.
This was one of the last Limbabwe releases in the 80ties.
I edited the tape in one track. On the original there are barely clear breaks or stops, so you get the complete recording in one track.
Recorded and mastered by Hans Nijssen. Produced by Koos van de Kerkhof Tracklist:
1) Douche
