IGOR EN DE ZWIJNE (Limbabwe 26) 1985
Igor and the Pigs. Another Marc band. After he had Iwan en de Trollen and Revels. This band is in the same ‘style’. Surf music. With De Zwijne Marc tried to play more traditional 50ties surf like f.e. The Shadows.
Update from Rens (Feb 2016): Igor en de Zwijnen started with Marc (Revels) and Stan (Zanzibars Twist). Rens joined for a live gig on a presentation day of local bands. Their set included two Link Wray covers, what titled them ‘surfband’. The band changed the name to Igor en de Trollen when Stan was replaced by Rowdy (Pandemonium) for one show in VHC club.
Like all Marc recordings it’s pleasant, especially if you are into 50ties/60ties rare underground music. For more see The Revels download.

I am happy I found some more material of ‘Mark-bands’, Revels and Igor. Although its not really my thing, these bands where very present and active in the scene. Mark was always very enthusiastically involved in his projects. You can hear this energy I appreciate that on all music.
Revels and Igor didn’t release much. These extra downloads create nice impressions of the swampy surf side from the scene.
